Our 1st House, Kindergarten

Our fall started out as crazy as ever this year! It began with the purchase of our 1st house.

We are now residents of Robins, Iowa. We moved in on Labor Day weekend and are settling in well. A big thank you to everyone who helped up move! We thoroughly enjoy living here. We live in a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with a large backyard. Lots of room for running and playing!

At the same time, Hayden began Kindergarten. We open enrolled him in the Alburnett Community School District for the small class sizes. His teacher is Mrs. Paulsen and he is loving school. This past week was the end of the quarter and I had opportunity to discuss Hayden's progress at parent-teacher conferences with his teacher. Hayden knows all his letters and sounds. He is starting to sounds out simple words. He is starting to read/learn sight words too. His teacher says that he follows the rules and is kind to all the kids. Hayden's favorite enjoys playing outside with his friends (Jordan), gym class, and sharing time. Here are few pictures of him.

Happy Birthday to my Main Man!

We celebrated Ted's 32nd Birthday on May 18. For his birthday meal he picked out................Steak, of course! So he grilled those up on his grill that is bearly hanging on. For his birthday, he gets to pick out a new grill. :) After that we packed up to surprise him to a round of frisbee golf. The kids did great! After a few holes of that we went back home to have some ice cream delight. Happy Birthday to a fabulous husband, father, and man. So glad you picked me to share your life with! I'm one lucky lady!

Mmmmm...
We promise to raise you in God's truth, Willa Michelle. We promise to lead by example demonstrating God's love to you and others.

Deuteronomy 6:5 Love the Lord you God with all your heard and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Willa is 1!

Our baby girl turned One! Just look how much she has changed in the past 12 months.

Willa is our sweet baby girl. She loves playing with her brothers, blocks, baby dolls, and going on walks. She has quite the wardrobe and is always looking adorable. Mommy can even braid her long hair!

Willa is mobile as she has some speed to her army crawl. She has also attempted the stairs within the last week! She has also began pulling up to stand. She has lots to say and will nod her head yes when she wants a certain food. Speaking of food, Willa loves it all! She loves to eat and currently her favorites are Kix, yogurt, applesauce, peaches, pears, rice, potatoes, and many more. It nice that she can feed herself too. We recently began giving her whole milk, so we are working on that transition.

Willa is our sweet baby girl and we can't imagine life without her!
